The Motor City Machine Guns Vs. The Viking Raiders
They Faced Off In ROH
- The two teams have fought twice.
- Both times were in ROH in 2017.
- The Motor City Machine Guns won twice.
The Motor City Machine Guns debuted in 2024 to tremendous fanfare. They have already had one reign as WWE Tag Team Champions and there are almost certainly more reigns to come. However, they have been on SmackDown. Meanwhile, The Viking Raiders have been taking over on Raw.
A match between these two teams would be incredible to see in WWE. But, it has happened twice before. In 2017, they faced off in ROH in both a non-title and title match. Both times, Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin came out on top.

Jordynne Grace Vs. Zaria
They Battled While Grace Was In TNA
- Grace signed with WWE in 2025.
- Zaria joined WWE in 2024.
- They are both on the NXT roster.
Jordynne Grace has been one of the most anticipated signings in WWE today. As a member of the NXT roster, there are a lot of women that fans would love to see her battle. One name in particular is someone who can certainly match her in power and strength.
Zaria versus Grace would be an incredible feud to witness. To date, they have had one singles match against each other for OPW. In that match, Grace successfully defended her TNA Knockouts World Title against Zaria.

Ricky Saints Vs. Ethan Page
They’ve Squared Off In AEW
- Both Saints and Page were signed to AEW.
- The two have already encountered each other in NXT.
- Saints has never beat Page.
Ricky Saints is one of a few major names to have made the jump from AEW to WWE. Many of his peers have been successful so far. That includes Ethan Page, who is already a former NXT Champion. A clash between the two of them seems inevitable. But, that match happened in their former promotion.
In 2022, they fought in the finals of a number one contender’s tournament to the AEW World Title. Saints came out on top in that match. In two other previous encounters on the indies, the same happened. To date, Page has never beat Saints.

Kevin Owens Vs. LA Knight
They Competed At A WWE Live Event
- Owens and Knight have never encountered each other outside WWE.
- They battled at a Toronto live event on 3/4/23.
- Owens defeated Knight.
Kevin Owens and LA Knight are two of the best in WWE today when it comes to the way that they can deliver promos. They are willing to say any and everything to an opponent in anticipation of a match. Surprisingly, they have never fought in a singles match on WWE television.

- Flair beat Green.
- They have teamed with each other in the past.
In 2025, Chelsea Green is one of the biggest fan favorites on the entire WWE roster. Her personality and charisma have played a pivotal role in helping her get over with fans. It is safe to say that she has been thriving. But, it would also be interesting to see her battle bigger names on the roster.
Green and Flair have encountered each other in the ring before. In 2019, she battled Flair in her debut on Raw, and they have also encountered one another in tag team bouts. But, Green more than has what it takes to deliver a great match and story against Flair.

Giulia Vs. Stephanie Vaquer
They Faced-Off In NJPW
- Vaquer and Giulia have often teamed in the past.
- They battled in 2024 at Stardom Cinderella Tournament.
- They competed for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Title.
Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer have been presented as the names that will carry the NXT brand into the future. As of writing, they are both champions on the brand and frequently deliver some of the best matches of the evening. Interestingly enough, however, they have only ever fought once.
In 2024, Giulia and Vaquer battled in NJPW for the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship. Vaquer put her title on the line and was successful in defeating Giulia. Since then, they have not encountered each other one-on-one.

Penta Vs. Rey Mysterio
Lucha Underground Fans Saw This Match
- Penta and Mysterio faced off at the 2025 Royal Rumble.
- Mysterio defeated Penta once in singles competition in Lucha Underground.
- They have teamed together often.
Since his debut on Raw, Penta has been getting various comparisons to Rey Mysterio. WWE even showed the two battle as numbers one and two in the Royal Rumble in 2025. This is a match that is virtually guaranteed to happen soon. But, it actually has happened.

One of the matches that many are looking forward to potentially seeing at WrestleMania 41 is between Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. They are two of the most successful competitors to ever come out of NXT and are highly decorated in the ring.
However, one of the titles that Belair was not able to capture was the NXT Women’s Championship. Much of that was due to Ripley being able to successfully retain the title against her at NXT TakeOver: Portland and live events. However, Belair does hold a televised win over her on NXT TV. But, a match between the two of them at the top of their game would be stellar to see.

Cena Has A Few Wins Over “The American Nightmare”
- Cena and Rhodes encountered each a few times over the years.
- Cena & Batista beat Rhodes & Ted DiBiase Jr. for the World Tag Team Championship in 2008.
- They battled for the United States Championship in 2015.
With John Cena on his retirement tour, it seems like a showdown with Cody Rhodes could be something coming soon. It would be a collision of two of WWE’s biggest babyfaces ever. But, the two of them are not total strangers.
Cena actually teamed with Batista to win the World Tag Team Championship from Rhodes and Ted DiBiase Jr.
