Brock Lesnar is one of the most protected wrestlers in the entire history of WWE, with him losing far less than the vast majority of stars over the years. When he did lose from time to time, it often came with some sort of shenanigans, interference, cheating, or something more to provide an asterisk on the defeat.

Brock Lesnar & Big Show Vs. The Undertaker (WWE SmackDown 10/23/2003)

Lesnar Lost Clean Multiple Times In One Match

  • This was a ridiculously booked match
  • The match was restarted multiple times as Undertaker kept winning
  • Undertaker finally pinned Lesnar to win

The Undertaker battled against two brutes in a handicap match on an episode of SmackDown, first pinning Big Show with a top rope chokeslam. However, General Manager Paul Heyman restarted the match, making it two-out-of-three falls. Undertaker then won by countout, until Heyman said it was no countouts. You guessed it, Undertaker then won by disqualification, until it was made no DQ.

Finally, Undertaker would use the stipulation to his advantage, brandishing a chain to strike Brock Lesnar, beating him clean (within the rules) with a one, two, three.

Lesnar Was Beatable Before Ending The Streak

Borkc Lesnar Vs Triple H

  • No Holds Barred allowed for “clean” shenanigans
  • WWE were not keen at the time of protecting Lesnar
  • Triple H beating him is sometimes forgotten

Brock Lesnar and Triple H went to battle at WrestleMania 29 in a No Holds Barred match, meaning that there are no rules, and anything goes.

There was some interference from the likes of Shawn Michaels and Paul Heyman, but given that they had one on each side and that this was allowed within the rules, we’re classing this as a clean win for Triple H, who soundly defeated Lesnar with a Pedigree, giving Lesnar his second WWE defeat in three matches since returning to the company.

SummerSlam 2003 was a notable night when it came to Brock Lesnar’s losses, as it was the first time he had ever tapped out, submitting to Kurt Angle’s Ankle Lock. At the time, Lesnar was becoming more of a typical, cowardly WWE heel, looking to cheat his way to a win with the help of Mr. McMahon.

  • Both men left WWE after this bout

The reason why some fans may have forgotten about this clean defeat is due to the fact that the fan rejection of the match overshadowed absolutely everything, including the result. With the knowledge that Goldberg and Brock Lesnar were both leaving WWE, the fans turned against both men and showered them in boos and indifference.

In the end, it was Goldberg who defeated Lesnar clean with a Jackhammer. This is the least notable of Goldberg’s two clean wins over Lesnar, the second coming in a wild squash match at Survivor Series 2016.

McIntyre beat Lesnar squeaky clean, with the pair trading finishers until McIntyre got the job done, winning his first WWE World Title.
