At any given time, there are a number of factions in the WWE. While the current landscape in the company isn’t comparable to the “gang warfare” environment of the early Attitude Era, the WWE has its share of groups.

Every Current WWE Faction, Ranked From Worst To Best
WWE is loaded with stables, but how well does each faction rank from worst to best? Let’s find out!
Much like a singles wrestler or a tag team, the key to a successful faction is largely attributed to the booking. One bad booking decision can be to the considerable detriment of a faction and prevent them from reaching their true potential. Let’s take a look at every current group in WWE, and the questionable booking decision for each of them.
Legado Del Fantasma: Leaving NXT
The Only Original Member Of Legado Is Santos Escobar
- Legado Del Fantasma was formed in NXT
- Santos Escobar has always been the leader of the group
- Elektra Lopez was recently released from WWE
Some of you reading this may be surprised to learn that Legado Del Fantasma still exists. This would be because the now trio rarely gets any significant television time. Also, the group switched almost all of its members when Santos Escobar turned on Rey Mysterio, as part of the LWO. Confused yet?
This is because the booking of this group has been so convoluted and lacksadaisical, that they are destined to be nothing more than an afterthought. The worst booking decision for Legado was moving them to the main roster from NXT, where they were an integral part of that brand.
Alpha Academy: Continuing After Chad Gable Left
Alpha Academy Has No Reason To Exist At This Point
- Alpha Academy originally consisted of only Chad Gable and Otis
- Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa were added to the group
- Chad Gable left Alpha Academy to form American Made
There’s no alpha in the Alpha Academy anymore, and needless to say, that is a problem. The WWE seems content with keeping them around as comic relief, and it’s rather shocking that none of them were among the recent releases made by the company.
To the credit of all three remaining members, they have all done their best with the material they have been given. But in all honesty, this group had no business continuing after Chad Gable left. Here’s to hoping that Otis, Maxxine, and Tozawa all find a landing spot in the near future, as they are all hard workers.
LWO: Adding Rey Mysterio As A Member
The Current LWO In No Way Resembles The Original WCW Version Of The Group
- The LWO was originally formed by Eddie Guerrero in WCW
- The group was reimagined in 2023 in WWE
- L.W.O is an acronym for Latino World Order
While the WWE might have been well-intentioned when they revitalized the LWO, it has benefitted absolutely no one. Adding Rey Mysterio to the group seemed to be to give a rub to some emerging Latino stars, such as Santos Escobar, and later, Dragon Lee. However, neither of those men are over at the moment.
While having solid teams on the roster is always crucial, the LWO is hardly seen as credible or a threat. Taking Mysterio out of the equation and possibly giving them a different name, may allow them to find their own identity, and a better chance at connecting with the crowd.
Wyatt Sicks: Start/Stop Booking
The Wyatt Sicks Are A Tribute To The Late Bray Wyatt
- The Wyatt Sicks are led by Uncle Howdy, aka Bo Dallas
- Bo Dallas is the brother of the late Bray Wyatt
- For all intents and purposes, the faction is also a tribute to the late Brodie Lee, aka Luke Harper
The Wyatt Sicks had the entire wrestling world talking upon their debut, and now, they are a virtual non-factor. A series of brilliantly produced vignettes introduced the group, and intitial impressions were overwhelmingly positive.

What might WWE have in store for fans when it comes to Alexa Bliss and The Wyatt Sicks?
But it seemed that the bloom was off the rose a few weeks after their debut, and it became increasingly clear that the company wasn’t sure how they wanted to portray the group. A potential feud with The Final Testament seemed to spike some interest, but that was nixed thanks to most of that faction being recently released. With the recent return of Alexa Bliss, and speculation that she may be added to the group, there could be hope for the Sicks, yet.
American Made: Not Giving A Stronger Push To Chad Gable
Chad Gable Formed American Made After Abandoning Alpha Academy
- American Made is a relatively new group in WWE
- They are a merger of Chad Gable, The Creeds, And Ivy Nile
- The Creeds and Ivy Nile were previously aligned with Roderick Strong in Diamond Mine
Of all the factions on this list with a great deal of potential remaining, Amercian Made is chief among them. Chad Gable is unquestionably one of the most underrated talents on the entire roster. The Creeds and Ivy Nile have benefitted by being associated with him, giving them relelvancy upon their debut on the main roster.
The worst booking decision for American Made, has been not giving Chad Gable a championship. Protecting Gable at all costs would give the faction the heat that it needs be a stronger heel unit in the midcard, with the ability to one day possibly be in main events.
Damage CTRL: Not Adding A New Member
Two Of Damage Control’s Members Are Currently Injured
- Damage CTRL originally consisted of Bayley, Iyo Sky, and Dakota Kai
- The group would add Kairi Sane, and later, Asuka
- As of this writing, only two of the group’s members are currently active
Damage CTRL has gradually declined as a faction, though its two active members are currently doing well as singles wrestlers. When the group kicked Bayley out, they seemed stronger than ever with Asuka, and Kairi Sane in the fold.
But since Asuka and Kairi have been on the injured list, it has been only Iyo Sky and Dakota Kai. This group would benefit from adding another member. It would generate interest in them, and possibly give an emerging talent something pertinent to be involved with.
Judgment Day: No Leader
Judgment Day Currently Has None Of Its Original Members
- Judgment Day was originally formed by Edge
- Edge added both Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley to the faction
- Priest and Rhea kicked Edge out, in favor of current member, Finn Balor
Judgment Day has been much more successful than they seem to be given credit for. However, they are like a band that has changed their lineup multiple times, which can be difficult to sustain momentum. What can’t be argued is that both Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley benefitted greatly from their involvement with the group.

Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio teased a new member would be joining Judgment Day. Who might be the best fit?
The worst booking decision for Judgment Day has been not allowing a clear leader to emerge. To once again make the band analogy, no great group has ever flourished without the right lead singer. Perhaps, a returning Aleister Black is exactly what the faction needs to get back on track.
The Bloodline: The Booking Of Solo Sikoa
The Bloodline Will Be Featured In The Upcoming Showcase Mode For WWE 2K25
- The Bloodline have dominated WWE since 2020
- Jey Uso and Sami Zayn both emerged as singles stars thanks to their time with The Bloodline
- The Bloodline is currently broken into two seperate factions
When Roman Reigns finally dropped the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship after an epic run, the question loomed; what was to become of The Bloodline? We would get the answer to that question on the following SmackDown, when Solo Sikoa would appear to anoint himself as the new Tribal Chief.
While it was an intriguing twist in the story, Solo proved to not quite be ready for that spot. In all honesty, as the silent enforcer of the group, Solo was not exactly positioned to be a credible successor to Roman Reigns. As a result, uncertainty now looms over what is considered by many to be the greatest faction in WWE history.
