In recent years, WWE has made remarkable efforts to highlight its women’s division, promoting stellar matches and giving greater visibility to its female wrestlers. However, despite these advances, there is a group of talented female wrestlers who seem to be stuck in creative limbo, underutilized or relegated to secondary roles.

WWE’s Women’s Division In Every Era, Ranked From Worst To Best

WWE’s Women’s Division has undergone multiple changes throughout its history. Which era stands out as the best?

These athletes, with impressive skills and immense potential, deserve more opportunities to shine in the ring and connect with fans. In this article, we’ll explore who these female wrestlers are that WWE is currently failing and why their lack of focus represents a missed opportunity for the company and its fans.

Dakota Kai
is undoubtedly one of the female wrestlers WWE is currently failing to deliver. Since her arrival to the main roster in 2022 as part of the Damage CTRL group, Kai showed tremendous potential: her charisma, in-ring skills and previous NXT experience positioned her as a key figure.

However, after an injury and the gradual dissolution of Damage CTRL’s impact, her presence has been reduced to sporadic appearances and bouts with no clear direction. WWE seems to have lost sight of her ability to lead storylines or compete for titles, relegating her to a supporting role that doesn’t do justice to her talent.

Candice LeRae

Candice LeRae is another female wrestler that WWE is currently failing. LeRae came to the main roster with an impressive track record in NXT, where she demonstrated her technical prowess, agility and storytelling ability in the ring. However, since her transition to the main roster, her role has been limited to short bouts and secondary appearances, often as part of makeshift teams or in segments that don’t allow her to stand out.

After her promotion to the main roster alongside

Isla Dawn
as part of The Unholy Union, Alba Fyre brought with her a distinctive style and magnetic presence that had shone in NXT UK and NXT. However, despite a brief reign as Women’s Tag Team Champion, her screen time has been drastically reduced, limited to sporadic bouts or appearances that fail to capture her essence as a fierce and charismatic competitor.

Now apparently

Alba Fyre
will be part of a stable with Chelsea Green. Hopefully, this will lead to an interesting storyline for her, because she has the potential to be much more than a member of a midcard faction. The company needs to recognize her value before her potential is completely wasted.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter make up a tag team that WWE is glaringly underutilizing at present. This dynamic duo, with their acrobatic and synchronized wrestling style, came to the main roster with great expectations. However, WWE seems to have lost interest in capitalizing on their unique energy, relegating them to the sidelines in a division that could benefit greatly from their freshness.

With their combination of agility, creativity and charisma, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter have everything it takes to be a dominant force on the women’s tag team division, which has been the weakest link in WWE’s main roster for years.

Despite her smaller size compared to other wrestlers,

compensates with agility, intensity and an obvious passion that resonates with the audience. When given the opportunity – such as in her Women’s Championship efforts – she has always delivered solid performances that prove her worth.

18 Shortest Female WWE Wrestlers On The Roster

WWE has a few female wrestlers shorter than fans would expect, but that doesn’t stop them from being some of the best on the roster.

WWE could build exciting storylines around her, whether as an inspirational underdog or a crafty heel, but a lack of sustained focus keeps her on the periphery of the women’s division. Giving Vega a significant push, with a well-developed rivalry or title run, would not only reward her consistency, but also enrich programming with a star who never disappoints when given a chance to shine.

Zoey Stark
is another female wrestler that WWE isn’t properly capitalizing on, and while her lack of natural charisma to connect with fans may be a hindrance, poor booking and lack of a well-defined character further exacerbate her situation. Her time on Raw has been marred by inconsistent utilization, often relegated to secondary bouts or as a storyline prop that doesn’t allow her to develop a clear identity.

WWE has not invested in finding a role that highlights her strengths and compensates for her limitations. While Zoey Stark doesn’t have the innate magnetism of other stars, her in-ring prowess is undeniable, and with the right booking she could become a credible threat in the women’s division.

Now let’s talk about Fallon Henley, whose talent already seems polished enough to make the jump to the main roster, but doesn’t even get the push she deserves in NXT. Despite her ability to connect with the audience and her steady improvement as a competitor, Henley is stagnant on the developmental brand.

Her wrestling style, along with her great character work, makes her ready for something bigger, but a lack of headlining opportunities or meaningful rivalries keeps her in the shadows.
